繊細な技術で築かれる薄い天板
美しさと強度の調和、それが私たちのサイドテーブルの最も重要な特徴です。鉄板の溶接は、熱によって反りや歪みが生じます。しかしそれを克服すべく、私たちは極限まで天板にかかる熱の時間を短縮し、それでいて強度を損なわない方法を見出しました。試行錯誤を繰り返し、現在の溶接手法に至りました。驚くべきことに、薄い天板でありながらも、しっかりとした強度を持つテーブルが誕生しました。このシンプルなテーブルは最大で10kgの荷重に耐える堅牢さを持っています。
Thin tabletop crafted with delicate technique
The most significant feature of our side table is the harmony between beauty and strength. Welding metal sheets causes warping and distortion due to heat. However, to overcome this, we have found a method to minimize the time the tabletop is exposed to extreme heat, yet maintaining its strength. Through trial and error, we arrived at our current welding technique. Astonishingly, a table with a thin tabletop was born, yet possessing robust strength, capable of supporting a maximum weight of 10kg.
研磨の工程
美しさは細部に宿ります。天板の表面を一層引き立たせるため、私たちは研磨に徹底的なこだわりを持っています。ミガキすぎることで凹凸が生じないよう、研磨は2回行います。使用する砥石も、様々なものを検証し、最も適したものを厳選して採用しています。そして、塗装前の素地状態でも美しい仕上がりを追求しました。
The polishing process
Beauty resides in the details. To further enhance the surface of the tabletop, we maintain a thorough commitment to polishing. To prevent unevenness from excessive polishing, we conduct the process twice. We meticulously select the abrasive stones, testing various options to adopt the most suitable ones. Even in its pre-painted state, we pursued a beautiful finish.
